A brief history of Iaso.

In late 1960s, we envisioned the creation of an elderly care and rehabilitation unit that would change the standards of elderly care in our country. Hence, in 1969, on privately owned premises, in Pefki Attiki, we opened our doors, first as a small family unit which was nonetheless little by little enlarged by the increase in the number of beds and outdoor space but most importantly through the creation of the first specialized physiotherapy studio for elderly people in the country, both for our customers but also for outpatients.

The inspiration for the name of IASO, daughter of Asclepius, goddess intrinsically related to the concept of healing, come from the great painter Yiannis Tsarouchis who for a decade (1980-90) visited our unit daily for physiotherapy and whose works adorn several areas of the building.

Today, 40 years later, Iaso remains one of the top units for elderly care and rehabilitation in our country, providing personalized care services and customized daily activities in order for our customers to enjoy the highest possible quality of life.
